# Control Panel Overview

## Overview

Control Panel is where ARX keeps its system settings: hardware and storage status, accounts and permissions, network, security, updates and backups.

You don't need to be in here while you use AI apps day to day. Come here when you need to manage **accounts, network, security, updates, backups or system settings**.

The search box at the top indexes menu names, page names and setting names. When you know what the setting is called, typing part of its name takes you straight there — usually faster than clicking through the menus.
