# How to check which ports ARX system services use

> Where to find the ports used by ARX system services and installed applications, as the basis for firewall rules and port forwarding

## Short answer

The ports used by ARX system services and by each application are listed under **Control Panel › System Information › System Service**.

## Details

That tab lists the system's own services alongside the ports each installed application occupies. Once you know which ports are in use, you can set up:

- **Firewall policies** — write rules around the ports actually in use, so you don't open ports you don't need
- **Port forwarding** — let external services call the generative AI applications running on the ARX platform
